Hole 5

This new bunkerless hole with slight dogleg left plays slightly uphill and on to the receptive width of fairway that presents diagonal to the line of play.  Shorter hitters can play right and on to the fairway, whilst the bold line direct to the green carries over the short rough on the left side of the hole to the landing area. The second shot is to one of the smaller and narrow greens where shots feed to the putting surface off the right surround’s slopes. Miss the green left and deep hollows of short rough come in to play, whilst long shots through the back of the green will roll well away from the target.
